Cookies & browser storage policy

Cookies are small values stored by your browser; local storage keeps preferences on your device. This page describes HashKosh's own storage and the third-party services that may run on public pages.

Essential functions and preferences

Search and feedback cookies support abuse controls and duplicate handling. Secure owner-session cookies protect the private admin area and do not create visitor accounts. The theme cookie remembers your light/dark choice for up to one year. The language is determined by the /en or /hi page URL.

Optional Google services

When enabled by the operator, Google Analytics, Tag Manager and advertising scripts load only after you allow optional services. They may use cookies or similar technology for measurement, ad delivery, personalisation and fraud prevention. Exact third-party names and lifetimes depend on the provider configuration and can change. A Google consent message, if shown, may offer further provider and purpose choices.

Live visitor counter

Supercounters loads automatically in a sandboxed frame on public pages, independently of the optional Google-services preference. It receives connection information and the public path without query parameters. Its browser storage, if any, is controlled by the provider and your browser. It does not run on private admin pages. Essential only does not disable this counter.

Changing your choice

Use Consent & preferences at any time to allow or decline optional services for this browser. Declining after allowing reloads the page to stop our optional scripts loading again. It does not delete existing third-party cookies or erase information already sent. Use your browser's site-data controls and Google Ad Settings for those additional choices.

Blocking or clearing storage

Browser settings can block or remove cookies and local storage. Clearing site data can reset consent, theme, duplicate-review identification and an owner sign-in. Some security-protected actions may stop working while cookies are blocked. Choices are browser/device specific; private browsing can discard them when the session ends. Browser or network restrictions can also prevent external services from loading.
