Editorial & corrections policy

This policy explains how HashKosh prepares hashtag information, distinguishes measurements and handles corrections. Our goal is useful bilingual context, with uncertainty shown rather than hidden.

Sources and drafting

Information may be prepared from stored vocabulary, curated topics and AI-assisted drafting. Word segmentation is an interpretation aid, not proof of a term's meaning. A whole-word lock prevents inappropriate splitting. For ambiguous abbreviations, slang or combined words, we may withhold a detailed explanation rather than choose an unsupported meaning.

Review and bilingual publication

Generated content is held for operator review. Checks cover English and Hindi meanings, suggested uses, examples and cautions before publication. Hindi wording should convey the meaning naturally rather than mechanically match every English word. A review is a quality control step, not a guarantee that every statement is error-free or professionally verified.

Search totals, rank and X trends

Accepted searches and activity on HashKosh are site-specific metrics. Search rank is calculated from HashKosh searches and must not be presented as social-platform rank. X India trends are a separate source feed: valid hashtag candidates require approval before the public section shows them. The source position and update time are labelled; unavailable source counts are not replaced with invented numbers.

Corrections and content concerns

Report an incorrect meaning, unsafe example, translation problem or misleading measurement through Feedback & corrections. Include the tag URL, the problem and a suggested correction or supporting source. The operator may update, hide or mark content unclear while reviewing it. A submission alone does not immediately alter a public page.

Ratings and independence

Visitors can submit a 1–5 star rating for a selected tag. Only operator-approved ratings contribute to the public average; written messages stay private. Browser-based duplicate and abuse controls reduce manipulation but cannot establish that each browser represents a unique person. Advertising does not turn a suggestion into an endorsement, and no hashtag is guaranteed to produce results.

Attribution and reuse

Vocabulary source and licence credits are provided in the Privacy policy. Social-platform names identify the services discussed and belong to their respective owners. Use the contact form for attribution or reuse questions. We aim to correct substantiated errors while preserving clear distinctions between source information, examples and site measurements.
